DESCRIPTION
Six years ago a group of local artists met to discuss what could be done to promote the contemporary art scene in Wolverhampton. Out of this emerged the Junction Festival. This is now our sixth festival and although some people have left and new ones joined, the original vision stays the same – to demonstrate the vibrancy of the local art and music scene and give local artists and musicians the opportunity to show their skills. The ‘Junction’ is Chapel Ash and this is the hub of the Festival, although this year we have expanded to take in the Newhampton Arts Centre.
