Joseph was Jacob’s favourite son.

Jacob gave Joseph a coat of many colours. But it made his brothers became jealous.

One day, the brothers sold Joseph to a slave trader. Joseph was taken to far away Egypt.

Joseph knew that it was God’s plan. With a special gift of God, Joseph could understand people’s dreams.

In Egypt, Joseph was wrongly placed in prison by his master.

One day, the Pharaoh asked Joseph to help him explain his strange dream.

Joseph spent two years in the prison.

The dream meant that Egypt would have seven years of plenty food, then seven years of awful famine.

Joseph told the Pharaoh that his dream was a message from God.

The Pharaoh listened to Joseph’s advice and Joseph became an important person in Egypt.

Joseph advised the Pharaoh to store food during the seven good years.

The seven years of famine came. Jacob and his family had no food to eat. So his sons went to Egypt to buy food.

When they arrived in Egypt, they could not recognize their brother, Joseph.

But Joseph knew them and he tested his brothers. Joseph found that his brothers had really changed.

Joseph learned that all was God’s plan and he never lost his faith in God.

Joseph asked his brothers to bring their father to Egypt and they lived there happily.
