CONTEMPORARY APPEAL

The Paul Rudolph Estate is certainly one of the more noteworthy homes in Joe Ginsberg Design’s portfolio. The three three story penthouse, originally designed and owned by Rudolph, was in need of a complete material renovation. Our client desired to maintain a modern living space and preserve the clean minimalism of the environment. By updating the historical landmark using contemporary materials (all fabricated & installed by our team) while keeping with the existing architectural details, we were able to exceed our client’s expecations.

URBAN ZEN

Joe Ginsberg Design transformed this raw, gutted Brooklyn loft into a comfortable home, conducive to raising a family. The client sought after a completely hand made, inviting interior. Requirements included a library, study and media room. Despite the challenges of little to no natural light and lack of space, Joe Ginsberg Design was able to meet all criterias. Custom translucent doors transport light throughout the apartment, resulting in a creative solution that is both aesthetically pleasing as it is effective. By creating a two-tierred floating officeand a custom totem-style bookcase, we adapted the space to be able to fit in all requested elements.

“Joe is an artist, a craftsman, his imagination and his ability to make the physical, ethereal is his greatest gift. As our designer, Joe has become a friend and we are graced with his magic every day. Joe created a home we could never have imagined, and yet it feels so much like home.” - Sam & Alisa Boymelgreen

A TRAVELER’S RETREAT

Joe Ginsberg took this New York City apartment and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind mediterranean inspired sanctuary. The own-ers were antique collectors and art enthuthiasts who wanted to fill their Chelsea home with findings from years of travel. All architec-tural details of the apartment were hand made. The walls of the apartment were treated like works of art, coated with authentic venetian plaster and encaustic finishes. The kitchen featured a backsplash of glass inlaid with photographs of the couple that magnified from certain angles. By incorporating fine artisan work and the owner’s antiques, we created a magical interior that will mesmerize anyone from the moment they walk in.

BACHELOR PAD

COFFEE TABLE

Joe Ginsberg Design created the ultimate bachelor pad, 36 floors above the city streets. Designed for a financial executive , the one bedroom, two bath apartment needed elements that maximized the space while speaking to the his personality. We created a concealed media unit - hidden by linen panels depicting a scene from the client’s favorite movie - Lawrence of Arabia.

“My experience with Joe Ginsberg was wonderful. He worked on my behalf when my superintendent had questions and helped streamline the entire process, from renovation to decoration. Joe went above and beyond what I expected, and the service he provided was well worth the cost. I can’t recommend him enough” -Richard Zentko
