I’m a big fellow, burly and tallI can look a bit scary but I’m not mean at all

I live in a kingdom, in the clouds up aboveIn a bright golden castle that I simply love

I live with my wife, so happy are weTwo gentle giants – my missIs and me

Now I’ll tell you a story, about one special dayWhen a strange-looking plant came growing our way

A beanstalk it was, grew up overnightIt must’ve been magic to reach such a height

Up the great plant, a boy did appearAt fi rst he seemed brave, not one ounce of fear

He wandered about and took in the viewOf our giant home – exciting and new

But when the lad’s eyes fi nally settled on meThe poor mite looked terrifi ed and started to fl ee

I think he was thinking I’d scoff him for lunchHis bones I would grind, his limbs I would crunch

But I don’t eat people, they’re just not for meI much prefer a vegetarian tea

But back down the beanstalk, the little lad fl edFrightened I’d eat him, be he alive or dead

And though I went after him, to say I was niceHe chopped down the beanstalk with an axe-like device

Lucky for me, my wife grabbed my armAnd pulled me back up to save me from harm

Alas that’s the end of my beanstalk storyThankfully it didn’t end gruesome or gory

You see I much prefer a quiet kind of lifeReading books, eating veggies and growing old with my wife.

The fi rst player to reach the Giant’s castle is the winner!
