THE ABOVE CHART REPRESENTS JAPANESE TESTING ON COLOR FASTNESSOF VARIOUS BRANDS OF PAINTS. EACH LINE (A, B, ETC.) REPRESENTSA BRAND OF PAINT ON THE JAPANESE MARKET. THE HIGHER THE ARCHTHE MORE FADING OF COLOR. THERMO-SHIELD IS THE BOTTOM LINEON THE CHART, INDICATING FAR LESS COLOR LOSS THAN OTHER BRANDSTHAT HAVE BEEN TESTED.
THE TEMPERATURE CHARTS BELOW REPRESENT A JAPANESE TEST CARRIEDOUT ON TWO ORANGE FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC STORAGE TANKS.THE EXTERIOR OF THE FIRST TANK WAS COATED WITH THERMO-SHIELDEXTERIOR LIQUID SIDING AND THE SECOND TANK WAS LEFT UNCOATED.THE PROBLEM WITH THESE TANKS WAS THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WASGETTING SO HOT IT WOULD DAMAGE THE FOOD VALUE OF THE CONTENTS.TOP LINE - INSIDE TEMPERATURE, UNCOATED TANK2ND LINE - SURFACE TEMPERATURE, UNCOATED TANK3RD LINE - INSIDE TEMPERATURE, THERMO-SHIELD COATED TANKBOTTOM LINE - OUTSIDE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE
