HOW TO DRAW A RABBITUse the steps below to draw your own rabbit!

STEP 1.Start by drawing the head.

Think of drawing a backwards “C” with a little bump in the middle.

STEP 2.Add an eye and two big long ears at the top of the head. A tiny curve

also makes the nose.

STEP 3.Using a big round curve, draw the back. Draw a smaller curve under the chin to form the neck.

STEP 4.Next, draw the front leg

underneath. It should almost line up with the ears.

STEp 5.Draw the hind leg by starting the curve so it almost touches

the back. Make the foot flat along the bottom.

STEP 6.Finally add a round, fluffy

tail at the back and another leg at the front!

9.

Draw your rabbit here!

BUTTERFLY LIFE CYCLECan you draw each stage of the butterflies life cycle above each

description below?

1. EGGSIt all starts with a female

butterfly laying eggs on the leaves or stems of plants.

2. LARVACaterpillars hatch from

the eggs.

3. CHRYSALISOnce fully grown, caterpillars form themselves into what is called a

chrysalis or pupa.

4. BUTTERFLYWhen the butterfly is ready to emerge, the case around the pupa splits open. The butterfly waits for its wings to dry out then takes flight. Once ready the butterfly will find others to mate with

– ready to start the cycle again.

Moths also go through the process of metamorphosis. This includes the largest moth in the world, the Atlas Moth, which you might be able to see in our butterfly house!
