Base’s plan and longitudinal section
The base is weighted to the ground with a steel bar to ensure balance.
Prototype construction
LEDs, punctual lighting elements, make for thin-ner light bulbs and allow multiple light sources. Thanks to their small size and their low tempe-rature, it can be integrated to very fine structures and allow the user to «touch the light».Hi.Bou is a lamp, composed of several wooden sticks including a tube of light. In addition to its lighting function and its decorative quality, the lamp can, by its configuration, be used to devide a space. The user can compose their Hi.Bou when they buy it, choosing stems whether with or without the LED feature. Then, simply plant them in the base.Electrical connection is simply made by contact, giving a real freedom of movement to the woo-den steams.

LA RESEAUTARCIE SPORTIVE
«La Réseautarcie Sportive» is a city based on an auto-productive system. Each inhabitant gives a little bit of his time by the participation at all the sports games organised for well-being of the city. Thus, each task considered like a chore in our world is thought here as a sportive game. For example, the inhabitants plow the soil by paldal-tractor races, play badmin-seed for sowing, water-fight to water plants, and play carott-relay to reap. Other games have been invented for the ernergy production : Fixed-tandem races, positive energy trampolines, ...
A utopian hall of residence for sportive students.
On Earth, a hall of residence (named the «Résideautarcie sportive») is designed for the hospitality of the sports students. Energy, water and food are very important for student-athletes. The whole city is autonomous thanks to the differents games invented. Thanks to their own physical activities, the students produce the resources they need.

Air du TempsA Christmas Tree for the 150th anniver-sary of Paris-Le Grand, an InterConti-nental Heritage Hotel.
Paris-Le Grand was constructed in 1862 during France’s Second Empire.
Request: Pay tribute to Paris Le Grand, by the conception and the realisation of sculptures around the theme of «christmas» and «anniversary». All the sculptures made by the Product Design Students were exhibited in the living room of the Hotel. This event marked the beginning of the celebrations organised during one year for the 150th anniversary of the Hotel.
Collaboration: Eve George, Agathe Wernoth, Jeanne GuyonDate : Exhibition in january 2012
12
Prototyping : Fabric, wood, steel, electronic (microcontroller arduino and cerveau-moteur).
13
Air du Temps evoques the poetry of the passing of time. The tree wings revolve slowly around the central axis, thanks to small elec-tronically programmed motors. The imperturbable and cyclical choreography refers to the 150 years of the hotel, which continues to thrive.

L’Attrape Nigauds. Exhibit objects of an «unknown land».
Request : First, each working group imagined an unknown civilisation based on a particular theme. Then, we created objects of this civilisation with differents techniques thanks to the schools studios. Finally, we developped and built «white pavillons» in order to exhibit the object imagined before. For our working group, the theme was «Nature».
Collaboration : Kevin Quinchard, Solène Michel, Safiana Kachou, Jenna Garnier, Johanne Fouqueron et Jeanne Guyon.
Date : march 2013
