At Ivy Kids…
We love to create. So we are pleased to present a beautiful new fill-in book containing 365 unique activities to scribble and sketch, to make your very own book: A Year in My Life.
We love to play. That’s why we’ve developed a brand new doodle design activity book— Make Buildings—packed with ideas for imagining and drawing fantastic houses and buildings. In Build! A Knight’s Castle, kids can press out and make their very own paper model siege castle and battle scene while learning all about the medieval era.
We love to learn. Discover ten of Shakespeare’s most popular works in Where’s Will?, and find William Shakespeare hidden in beautifully drawn versions of his plays. Insects in 30 Seconds and Weather in 30 Seconds are the latest additions to the growing 30 Seconds series, combining hard working visuals with informative and expert text. We also have a new title from Clive Gifford, author of the award-winning Eye Benders. Brain Twisters teaches you how your brain works through fun and brain-twisting illustrations and text.
We love to do. We know you do too! We have a beautiful and innovative new format for activity books—Cut and Color Playbooks let you color, draw and then cut away to reveal different scenes. The first title is all about seasons, with two follow-on titles exploring journeys and cities. Paper Pets contains 10 cute and quirky paper pet models (along with their accessories) to pop-out, make, and keep.
We love to dream. And we want to inspire you as well, especially to make positive changes in your school, in your family, and in the world! Be the Change, Make it Happen presents 80 big and small ways you can make a difference, from kindness activist Bernadette Russell.
We know you love these things too, and we can’t wait to show you our books.

As “Cesario”, Viola soon becomes Orsino’s favourite pageboy, and secretly falls in love with him. But Orsino still loves Olivia, and sends Viola, in disguise as
Cesario, to take his messages of love to her house. But during these visits, Olivia falls in love with “Cesario”, instead!
At Olivia’s house, her lazy uncle Sir Toby Belch and his friend Sir Andrew Aguecheek, along with her clown Feste and lady-in-waiting Maria, tease the
pompous butler Malvolio. Knowing him to be in love with Olivia, they fake love letters from her telling him to wear his yellow stockings as a secret love signal.
Unbeknown to Viola, her twin Sebastian did survive the shipwreck. When he arrives in Illyria and meets Olivia, she thinks he is Cesario (as the twins look very alike)
and asks him to marry her. Sebastian is confused, but agrees. Meanwhile, Malvolio’s strange behaviour makes Olivia think he is crazy, and the others lock him up in a dark room.
Antonio, a sailor who rescued Sebastian from the sea, is arrested for an old crime. He sees “Cesario”, thinks “he” is Sebastian, and begs him to give back a bag of
money he lent him. Still disguised as Cesario, Viola says she doesn’t know Antonio, but realises Sebastian must have survived the shipwreck.
Finally, everyone meets up at Olivia’s house: Sebastian and Viola are reunited, and Viola reveals that she is really a woman. The mix-ups are all sorted out, Malvolio is released, and Orsino realises he loves Viola, not Olivia.
He marries her while Olivia ends up with Sebastian, and everyone (except Malvolio) is happy.
A young lady named Viola survives the shipwreck, but cannot find her twin brother Sebastian, and thinks he is dead. When she hears about Orsino and Olivia, she
disguises herself as a boy named Cesario, and goes to work as a pageboy at Orsino’s palace.
Orsino, Duke of Illyria, is in love with the beautiful Lady Olivia – but she is still in mourning for her brother’s death, and is not interested. While Orsino pines away
in his palace, a ship is wrecked in a storm at the coast nearby.

Set in a fantasy kingdom called Illyria, Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s great comedies. Shakespeare often wrote about the confusion caused by
people dressed-up in disguise. In Twelfth Night, a woman called Viola, dresses as a man. A countess called Olivia, falls in love with her thinking she is a man! There is even more
confusion because Viola has a twin brother, who she thinks is dead, but who is alive. However, by the end of the play, all the secrets are revealed and two couples marry!

Prospero asks Ariel, a flying magical spirit who serves him, to help with his plans. Ariel finds Ferdinand, Alonso’s son, and brings him to meet Miranda. They fall in
love at once. Prospero sets Ferdinand to work carrying logs to prove his devotion.Meanwhile, Alonso, Gonzalo, Sebastian and Antonio are in another part of the
island. Alonso is sad as he is sure his son is dead. While he and Gonzalo sleep, Sebastian and Antonio plot to kill them and take the throne, but Ariel stops them.
Separately, Alonso’s clown Trinculo and butler Stephano swim ashore and find Prospero’s other servant, the half-human creature Caliban. Caliban persuades
Stephano and Trinculo to help him kill Prospero, so that they can rule the island together. Ariel foils the plot by leading them into a muddy swamp and distracting them with expensive clothes.
Prospero conjures up a magical banquet to tempt Alonso and his followers before Ariel appears, in the guise of a terrifying demon, and makes it vanish. Ariel warns
them that he knows about their crimes and that Alonso has lost his son, Ferdinand, as punishment. Alonso feels guilty and is full of remorse.
Finally, Prospero summons everyone to see him and forgives them, saying he will leave the island and his magic behind, and return to Milan as the rightful Duke. He reveals that Ferdinand is alive and will marry his daughter Miranda, and
sets his servants Ariel and Caliban free. The ship is magically repaired, the crew is safe, and the sea is calm. They all plan to stay on the island for one night, then sail home the next day.

WHAT DOPALEONTOLOGISTS
DO?Paleontologists are scientists who study the history of life
on Earth by researching fossils. They often spend their time
hunting for new fossils and bringing them back to museums
to be preserved, or in laboratories preparing fossils
for research.
STUDYING FOSSILS By studying fossils, paleontologists can
figure out what the animal looked like when
it was alive, what species it was and even
whether it is a new discovery!
Paleontologists predict where fossils might be found and
organize dig teams to find them.
SOLVING THE PUZZLE Paleontology also involves some biology. Paleontologists
use what they know about modern animals to figure out what
extinct animals would have been like when they were alive.
Modern paleontology is enhanced by computers.
We now have the technology to create digital
fossils using laser scanning.
Looking at giraffes can help us imagine how
similar dinosaurs, like this sauropod, moved.
A simulation can show how a dinosaur might have moved.
We can even try to figure out how sauropods used
their necks.
Paleontologists can also look at the
features of fossils to find out how
they’re related to
other fossils.
The fossilized bones are scanned
in 3D, using a laser.
It’s even possible to print a dinosaur in 3D!
