THE ITALIAN CONFERENCECENTER WELCOMES YOUAND YOUR GUESTS!Thank you for your interest in our ser-vices. Please review the policies of ourCatering Department, as outlined onthis page. We want to meet your spe-cific requirements, so that your func-tion runs as smoothly as possible.Hence, we need to state clearly thebasic rules underlying your contract.We welcome any questions you mayhave about the following.
CONFIRMATIONS & CHANGES1. The Catering Department must benotified as to the number of guestsexpected and the menu selected ten(15) working days in advance of yourevent. (The Catering Departmentoffice is open 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.,Monday through Friday.)
Final confirmation of the number ofguests to be served at any meal func-tion must be made no later than 72hours prior to the scheduled event.
If no final count is received, the num-ber given in the original arrangementswill be used, and will not be subject toreduction. Minimum charges will bebased upon this guaranteed number, orthe actual number served if greaterthan the guarantee.
A minimum of 50 guests is required forall buffets.
2. If an event is cancelled with lessthan two (2) months notice, the cus-tomer is liable for the full amount ofthe expected charges unless the roomcan be re-booked for that date at anequivalent level. If the guaranteednumber differs greatly from the antici-pated attendance at an event at thetime of booking, the Center reservesthe right to reassign the function to adifferent space and adjust the feeaccordingly.
3. Rental charges apply to all roomsused for meetings, exhibits, receptionsand wedding ceremonies bookedthrough the Catering Department.Room rates may vary with the natureof the function.

religious laws must be observed. Two(2) or more entrees will incur an addi-tional charge of $2.00 per entree. Alldietary requests must be given to theCatering Department office no lessthan 72 hours prior to the event.
5. Our policies do not permit food orbeverages to be brought into our func-tion rooms from outside the Center bycustomers or outside vendors. CurrentHealth Department rules do not allowfood to be taken off the premises afterit has been prepared.
6. The Center is a licensee of the city,state and federal agencies that regulatethe sale and service of alcoholic bever-ages. Therefore, we do not allow alco-holic drinks to be brought into or takenout of our facility. We offer a completeselection of beverages to complementyour food. The ICC has the right not toserve alcohol to any person under theage of 21.
7. The full charge for entrees will beadded to the bill based on the finalcount 72 hours prior to the event.Food and beverage prices are subject tochange without notice due to changingmarket costs.
8. A 20% service charge applies to allfood and beverage ordered.
9. Groups requesting sales tax exemp-tion must submit a copy of their statetax exempt certificate no later thanthree (3) days prior to the function.
PARKING10. Complimentary parking is provid-ed for banquet patrons, except duringlakefront festival times; then, postedrates apply. Our lot is located on thesouth side of the building.

For cash bars, a bartender fee of$100.00 will be charged for each cateredevent lasting four (4) hours or less.For each additional hour after thefourth, the fee will be $10.00 per hourper bartender. The bartender fee willbe waived if $275.00 per bartender isreached in liquor sales. One bartenderis scheduled per 75 people. A cocktailpackage plan is available for groups of25 or more.
12. An additional labor charge will beadded for any change in set-up or styleon the day of the event.
13. Whenever any special eventrequires the Center to rent any equip-ment, audio or video components,linens, tables, etc., the customer will becharged accordingly.
14. Advance payment shall be madefor all functions, unless credit has beenestablished to the satisfaction of theCenter. For all events, a deposit isrequired within ten (10) days ofreceipt of the signed contract. Totalanticipated costs (100%) must be paidthree (3) days prior to all events.
15. If final costs exceed $200.00 andpayment is made less than 15 daysprior to the function, it must be by:

Regardless of the form of payment, allfunctions without established businesscredit must provide a major creditcard number on the returned contract,along with the cardholder’s name (asit appears on the card) and the cardexpiration date.
16. A finance charge of 1-1/2% permonth (18% annually) will be appliedto any unpaid balance thirty (30) daysafter the event.
If full payment is not received within45 days, the customer’s account will beturned over to collection. The cus-tomer shall also bear all costs of collect-ing the debt.
CONTROL & LIABILITY17. The Center reserves the right toinspect and control all parties, meet-ings, receptions, etc. held on thepremises.
18. The Center will not assume anyresponsibility for damage or loss of anymerchandise or articles, equipment ordecorations left in the Center before,during and after the function.
19. The customer agrees that he/she isresponsible for any damage done to thepremises during the period of time thatguests are under his/her control, or thecontrol of any independent contractorhired by the customer.

pompeII grand ballroom • Our centerpiece features rich wood paneling and
vaulted ceilings with elegant, modern lighting. For banquets it serves 650 and as a theater, 1,500. Using soundproof partitions, we can divide it into three rooms, each serving 150 diners. Each room has its own entrances, utilities and audio-visual hook-ups.
diStinctive galleria • With its floor-to-ceiling courtyard windows, the Galleria is perfect for receptions and displays — alone or combined with the Pompeii Grand Ballroom for larger events.
