ISRAELI CULTURE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN 2016

Dear Friends of Israeli Culture,
Most of us cannot imagine living without arts. It has an almost mysterious power to
raise us above the routine of everyday life. Whether it is film, visual art, literature,
music, theater or dance, art in all its manifestations can connect and communicate
across different cultures and deeply enrich its surroundings.
During 2016, we were pleased to help and uncover new layers of Israeli culture and
assist in promoting it in Prague and other parts of the country. Please use the following
pages to recall moments spent with Israeli culture this past year. You can start to look
forward to 2017 which will bring many different and promising cultural experiences.
We thank all our partners, institutions, artists and audience for their participation and
involvement in bringing this diverse and unique Israeli culture to the Czech Republic.
