22 October 2021— Dr Manzo highlighted a milestone with our admis-sions going over 300 admitted cases, the highest since the Pandemic. An added blessing is the less than 10 PHC HCW admitted for Covid. Let us encourage the remaining few PHC staff to get vaccinated and to continue to exercise safety measures in protecting ourselves from Covid19.

22nd Infection Prevention and Control Week

The Philippine Heart Center joins the world in celebrating International Infection Prevention

& Control Week, with this year’s theme “Unite & Conquer” last October 18-22, 2021.

In addition to fighting a global pandemic, the Infection Prevention & Control Office (IPCO)

prepared various activities to celebrate our weeklong event to re-enforce and refresh all

healthcare workers about the importance of IPC in our daily lives.
