When we think of the American Revolution who comes to mind? People like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Paul Revere. We think of these men as heroes risking their lives for the Patriotic cause. Most of you know that men of all ages served as soldiers during the Revolutionary War.
Have you ever wondered who did the work that the absent men normally did? Throughout the American Revolution, women had important roles for the American cause. Women acted as political figureheads, writers, nurses, spies, and even soldiers. The contributions of these women were invaluable and, without their efforts, the Revolutionary War could not have been won.
This WebQuest will introduce you to important women of the American Revolution. You will research about the women and Chose a way to demonstrate your knowledge of your chosen American Hero.

You will need to take the perspective of your American Revolution figure and present your findings to your peers on your new found information. In addition, you will dress in costume and come up with a creative dialogue to complete your transformation.
