other visual elements that help users navigate their way through a multimedia production

· Animation· A simulation of movement or the perception of

motion created by the rapid display of a series of still images

Sounds· A multimedia element such as

narration (voice-over), music, or other sound clips· Audio

· Live or recorded sound

· Sound effects· Sounds that are added to a presentation

to emphasize information

· Music

Video· A series of framed images put together,

one after another, to simulate motion and interactivity· Live or recorded moving images

type of multimedia applications and can be used for entertaining, informing, training, reference, and research

· Web pages use hypermedia, which allows users to skip between pages in any order they wish· Link images, text,

and sound
