What the experts sayabout IJHKMI am very much looking forward to the issuesof this new journal.
It meets the demand for a publication thatwill contribute to the hospitality sector notonly through publishing new concepts andideas, but importantly to foster the badlyneeded transfer of knowledge to the sector. The Journal will therefore encourageinnovation and help transform researchknowledge into capability for a competitivehospitality industry.
Chris Cooper, Director, Christel deHaan Tourism andTravel Research Institute, University ofNottingham, UK.
Given all the recent discussions about theproliferation of Tourism & Hospitality journals,my expectation is that this journal will carveitself a niche in the area of KnowledgeManagement in Hospitality.
Abraham Pizam, Dean & Linda ChapinEminent Scholar Chair in TourismManagement, University of CentralFlorida, USA
In view of the limited volume of literature and applied research in HospitalityManagement, the role of a high qualityjournal has become increasingly important. The International Journal of HospitalityKnowledge Management is expected to be avery useful source of up-to-date informationand present expert overviews in the fields ofhospitality and knowledge management ofgeneral interest not only to the scientificcommunity, but also to the high levelmanagerial personnel. The eminentinternational stature of the Editorial Boardwill guarantee the high standards expectedof an international journal.
