Total attendance at this year’s shows increased by over 40% 2013’s record attendance to 13 169 unique visitors. The majority of visitors are involved in purchas-ing decision making. 13% of the audience is made up of wholesalers and retailers.

The shows played hosts to a variety of business programmes to add value to professional attendees. The shows re-invest proceeds from the show in this way back into the education and development of the market.
• Educational sessions NAMM University tailormade for Russian retailers. Russian and international experts shared their experiences in a peer to peer training environment
• International Music Convention Colisium – a discussion center with a series of seminars and lectures for major participants of music industry: record labels, concert agencies, promoters, club representatives and the media
• Master-classes by Learn Musiс, where famous professional vocalists and musicians gave performance skills` lessons to the fair visitors
• A roundtable of musical teachers and media professionals and the National Conference and Pedagogical Seminar which featured presentations by renowned authors and professors in the field of contemporary music education. These events were interesting for both administrators and teachers of musical schools and colleges
• Rental Companies Forum, organized by the Association of Rental Companies for CEOs and employees of rental companies and event agencies, brought together representatives of equipment suppliers, executive producers, production managers, sound engineers and lighting specialists from Russia and the CIS. The leading Russian and international experts covered development prospects of the industry at the Forum 2014.
• The First International Violin Makers competition “Violin: Soul and Shape” was held at the NAMM Musikmesse Russia. The most talented
string instruments` makers from different countries participated in the contest. The jury were include David Burgess (USA), Francesco Toto (Italy), Igor Ulitskiy (Russia) and other respected musicians and violin masters.
• As a first for Russia, ProLight + Sound NAMM Russia will host the first Theatre Forum – a special section devoted to theatre technologies. Master classes, round tables, conferences, panel discussions will be held by leading experts of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theatres. The A.A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum prepared a special program for the Theatre Forum`s visitors. Theatre technical specialists had a unique chance to visit decorative workshops and a warehouse complex of the Bolshoi theatre inthe frames of the fair`s scheduled tour. Presentations and workshops on the show-technologies from the best manufacturers were no doubt of interest to regional theaters specialists.

The main Stage – Live Music Stage outdoor
The headliners of this program were the legendary musicians Nathan East and Marco Mendoza. The Independent Guitar festival Guitar Player Party 41 and the YAMAHA Band Сontest organized by Yamaha Music company took place at Live Music Stage. Visitors of the Moscow show were able to enjoy a beautiful performance by Oleg Butman trio and Maya Azucena, which the US Embassy helped to manage. Jazz fans were pleased by a master class by Anatoly Kroll - People’s artist of Russia - with the student jazz orchestra of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music “Alive Work with jazz orchestra”.
The Small Stage – Acoustic Stage inside the Pavilion Classique
For those who enjoyed the classical music, organizers prepared special concert program on the Acoustic Stage in Pavilion Classique. Performances of leading musicians and soloists from Italy, Switzerland, Russia in the framework of the festival “Masters of Music”, and performances of the best teachers and students of the St. Petersburg M.P. Musorgsky musical College and the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory were submitted to audience approval.
Concert Sound demonstration – outdoor zone
In addition, a demonstration of concert sound installations will allow visitors to appreciate the possibilities of the acoustic systems of the leading brands such as: TW Audio, AGL audio, DAS Audio, Voice Acoustic, ProTone, Harman, VUE audiotechnik, Coda Audio и RCF.
