professional and highly efficient. Y worked extremely well in a team environment and clearly has a strong future in medicine - will make a superb resident and registrar.”

Staff comments

“Z was an outstanding intern-without doubt one of the best I have had the pleasure of working with in my 26 years as a Consultant Surgeon. In addition to superb clinical skills, hard work and dedication she brought maturity, compassion and a level of comprehensive patient care all too rare amongst her peers.”

organisations that give regular thanks to their employees far out perform those that don’t.”

How did you perform in your intern year?

Does this project empower interns?

Intern reply

I just received your letter and the certificate and just wanted to say I really appreciate it, because it really makes a difference. It's nice to know that my efforts were appreciated and people thought well of me.

Intern reply

The words written about me mean a lot, and more important is the fact that my work has been noticed and appreciated because I am a quiet worker. I used to wonder all of 2013 whether the senior colleagues noticed the work I did.

Intern reply

I just received your wonderful “Intern Yearbook

Project” in the mail and would like to say, what a

lovely idea that is so very Eastern Health! I’m sure

you made many people’s day!

Intern reply“I was pleasantly surprised to receive a letter and

accompanying certificate as part of the Intern Yearbook Project. This is such a beautiful idea and I was touched by the lovely comments!”

Intern reply

I was so touched by the Intern Yearbook Project and reading the comments made by others about me. Knowing my colleagues felt I performed well has really given me a great deal of confidence in my future medical career.
