Instructions on how to access ARTC Applications via CITRIX

Instructions on how to access ARTC Applications via CITRIX E.g. You are working from home, hotel, airport or an outside company. Requirements:

• You MUST have an ARTC Network Login (CSA Form submitted) • An appropriate device - Laptop, notebook or PDA • Ability to connect your device to the internet

STEP1 – Open up an Internet browser E.g. Double click the icon that looks like this on your desktop.

STEP2 – Download and Install the Digital certificate Type ‘citrix.artc.com.au/digital.crt’ into the address (URL) area and press ‘ENTER’ or click ‘GO’

You can tick the box to avoid seeing this popup in future (Optional), then click OK

Click Open

Click ‘Install Certificate’

You’ll get the following prompts, just click the ‘defaults’ (mark in RED circle)

STEP3 – Install the Citrix Web Client Open another Web browser if you don’t have one open and now that you have the Digital Certificate installed, type in the address (URL) area: citrix.artc.com.au Click on the ICA Web Client link.

Then follow the defaults again (see below) – You will need to restart your PC at the end of this step.

NOTE: Reboot now!!! STEP4 – Logging into Citrix Type citrix.artc.com.au into your address (URL) area, then login to Citrix

See STEP5 now if this is the first time you have tried to login to Citrix You will be presented with you ‘Application set’ which is governed by the type of access requested by your manager.

Simply chose a program from the selection. NOTE: A screen pops up asking you the type of access you want, please chose ‘FULL’ & ‘NEVER ASK AGAIN’.

STEP5 – Changing your PASSWORD If you access Citrix outside of ARTC for the first time this step will automatically pop up as you must change your password at first successful login. Note: If you get your password wrong 3 times your account is LOCKED for 60 sec. You can try again after that. Passwords need to be changed every 40 days so this screen will pop up by itself when that time arises.

At any stage after this if you want to change your password please just click the Key on the Microsoft Key Chain (see below) seen in the applications area when logged into Citrix, to invoke the change password screen above.
