Install and Configure Fortinet VPN:
1. From one of these browsers , enter the URL https://fcvpn.fullcoll.edu
2. Login with your Fullerton College Network (FCNet) username and password.
3. Select the appropriate OS platform for your device.
4. Download the client software by clicking on “Download” in the “Get FortiClient …” box corresponding to the OS
on your device and then click “Save as”.
5. When the download is complete, click “Run” to install.
6. The downloaded VPN file will be unpacked.
7. Your system will be scanned for viruses to make sure it is clean. Please be patient!
8. Check “Yes, I have read and accept….” then click “Next”.
9. Select “VPN Only” and then click “Next”.
10. Click “Next” to accept the default path.
11. Click “Install”.
12. Select “Finish”, then restart your system by clicking on “Yes” in the pop-up box.
13. After your system restarts, select the shortcut “FortiClient” on the desktop to start the configuration.
14. Configuration: Select “Remote Access” then click “Configure VPN”.
15. Select “SSL-VPN”. Fill in the boxes using the connection information below. Click “Apply” and then “Close”.
16. Enter your FCNet username and password then click “Connect” to make VPN connection.
17. Connected! You are in the Fullerton College private network now.
18. Important note: While you are in session with the FCNet VPN, you must use a fully qualified domain
name (FQDN) to do mapping drive or any other connections. Example: if the server has its host name as
“fcstaff”, you must use its “FQDN” fcstaff .fullcoll.edu.
