My first idea is inspired by Abigail Reynolds. Her work consists of decoding images by carving into them to reveal another image underneath. When she carves into the images she used basic straight line shape such as triangles, rectangles and squares.
Another ar*st I looked at that would involve decoding and revealing imagery was Dilşad Aladağ a modern ar*st who takes photos and bleaches them half way and draws back on the image with a simple line drawing
My next idea is to take the picture out of the frame and also incorporate tex6les into my work this idea was inspired my the ar6st Ana Teresa Barboza who work “the oceon” was a embroidery piece where the matrial used is spilling out of the image it kind of textual representa6on of a heavy relief pain6ng.
As the idea is to get the work to come out of its frame or containment an ar4st that also inspires this Idea is kurt schwi8ers with his un4tled heavy relief wood pain4ng .
Cosmin Bumbut is a Romanian photographer and his work “Transit that he did has inspired me to do some travel photography capturing my experience from a Rural environment to a urban city. I would do this using some form of transport e.g Public ( Bus/train) or a car.
Another ar*st that inspires this idea is one of the first travel photographers James Ricalton and his photos of his voyage across the ocean to the far east.
Tom Hussey has inspired me with the idea of people reflec7ons and how people see them selves in the mirror he has done a sample with older people looking in the mirror and seeing what there used to be like but my idea would be of what people thing they look like or want to look like e.g there size
Underwear as outerwear the A/W 2010 collec6on has given me the idea of making a garment that show garment that should be worn on the inside is made on wear on the outside this juxtaposi6on is shown in this collec6on of Jean Paul Gaul6ers collec6on.
