Vision and SuccessesMy vision for the students / teachers / community is for the students to learn meaningful connections with Indigenous culture.The integration of Indigenous Art and culture has been successfully applied to R-7 Art classes.Year 4 and year 7 teachers will include Indigenous perspectives in their History units in 2013 as a result of my Focus teacher process.The community will benefit from enhanced appreciation of Indigenous perspectives through the art, general curriculum and community events.

ChallengesFinding the right timing to introduce ACARA history perspectives with the staff for inclusion in History curriculum.The process has revealed some adults do not have the same open mind as the students do towards Indigenous Australia.
