Barriers to CNG GrowthThe following items are our suggestions to help advance CNG infrastructure development in the NYC/LHV area:

• Update the NY City CNG station installation code from the one based on a national code from 1999 to one based upon current codes.

• Review/repeal the existing NYC moratorium on the use of LNG as a vehicle fuel.

• Allow the use of EPA certified aftermarket conversion systems in NY State to expand vehicle choices.
