“In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours.” ~Mark Twain
Winter appears to finally be behind us, so let’s celebrate by enjoying the fresh air.
May is shaping up to be a very busy month packed with interesting things to do.
Mother’s Day is May 8th and coincidentally that is also that start of National “Nurse’s Week” when we celebrate those amazing men and women who have chosen this profession. Take a moment to thank a Nurse for all they do for us.
The rest of the month’s events are inside the calendar including our first BBQ on May 19th.
Have a Wonderful month,
Michael Ayers,
Welcome to the Terrace!

Pie for Parkinson’s Fundraiser!
Did you know there are over 100,000 people in Canada living with Parkinson’s Disease everyday?
Join us on Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00pm for our Pie for Parkinson’s Fundraiser!
We will be serving coffee, tea and also selling big heavenly slices of home baked pie! Each piece will be $4.00, with 100% of proceeds going to Parkinson’s Canada!
We welcome two special guests; Karen, entertaining us with her acoustic guitar and beautiful voice, and Parkinson’s Canada Guest Speaker Anna MacNamara. She will help us understand more about the Disease, some of the hurdles science is having with finding a cure, and how fundraising is a big help to their organization.
