A need for an awareness was felt when according to the latest report, Sikkim stands First in the number of suicides in the country and Rhenock holds the top spot inthe State.

Students conducted week-long morning assembly with Suicide Awareness as a theme in order to outreach the greater masses through the students, the budding members of the society!

•We along with the help of Red Ribbon Express (NGO) gave counselling to the students and also performed a play in the School Campus in order to aware the students about AIDS, Drugs and Suicide and the harm caused by them.

•One of the causes of Suicides in the state is due to Drug abuse by the students and adults.

•Our main purpose to demonstrate this rally was to aware the people about the consequences of suicide and how we can join hands to avert it.

• Our small effort done in the locality , like a forest fire, was able to trigger a huge response from the society

We believe our effort to be worthwhile if we have

managed to touch a single dying soul and have

given them hope and confidence through our effort to

fight the battle of life and have moved a single

concerned individual and developed an urge in him

to carry his candle and run to the darkness, reach

out the hopeless, confused and torn and somehow

light their world…

Lastly, LIFE ends when you stop

dreaming, HOPE ends when u stop

believing, and LOVE ends when we stop

caring…So, DREAM, BELIEVE &

CARE…..
