DESCRIPTION
'In Another World' is a special edition of Vapid Kitten. The zine is themed around women in technology, it documents 8 girls work as they get to grips with some new technology and some thoughts on the wider subject. The zine has been made as a collaboration between a co-editor from Vapid Kitten, 8 year 8 girls from St Ambrose Barlow, their Design Technology teacher and two mentors from Manchester School of Art.

Welcome to a special edition of Vapid Kitten.
‘In Another World’ is a collaboration between Vapid Kitten’s co-editor Anna Frew, Manchester School of Art volunteers Tom Hesketh and Rowan Kirby and a talented group of ladies from St Ambrose Barlow High School.
As part of the Ideas Foundation’s Designer in Residence program Anna has been working with students from St Ambrose Barlow on the theme of women in technology. Whilst exploring the theme the students have been learning some technology; basics of Photoshop, Illustrator and the world of e-publishing. This zine collates everyone’s work.
