Thinking

• Thinking consists of thought sequences

• Not all thought sequences are conscious

• Not all thought sequences are thinking

• We will label all thought sequences as ‘t’

The initial thought sequence is t1. The next thought sequence

is t2.

t1 may be a conscious thought, while t2 may remain an unconscious thought.

t1 and t2 may both remain unconscious thought

sequences, or they may both be conscious thought sequences.

‘e’ is the energy behind a thought sequence. It is also the physical energy that is related to

a thought sequence.

S is a state of awareness.

Whenever the energy of awareness (e) is within two

states (S), there is at least two states of awareness in

operation.

S-sleep is the state of awareness in deep sleep.

E1(t1)>S-sleep

active thought process is greater than sleep

• E0(t1)=S-sleep

• The energy level is consistent with a thought transition- no trance state, but the individual is involved in thought. This may be representative of a lucid dream state. The dreamer is in a trance, while the witness remains outside of the trance.

• E1(t1)=S-sleep is dreaming. The individual is in a state of sleep and in the trance of dream. Notice that the dream state can be equivalent to conscious awareness.

E1(t1)<S-sleep

Individual may be asleep, dreaming, etc… Conscious

awareness is less than the deep sleep state. There are different

states of sleep.

E1(t1)>s-sleep

• Conscious awareness is greater than the sleep state. This may be a hypnagogic state, an individual just waking up or falling asleep, or even denote the waking state.

‘p’ is a pattern of thought sequences. It may be a

habitual pattern. Example:negative thinking

This represents a memory of thought sequence 1. t1 is

related to t2.

Association occurs when one or more thought sequences are

repeated often enough to become triggers for a thought

sequence.

To reach t4 an individual only needs t1, t2, or t3, or a

combination of those thought sequences to reach t4.

t4 is now associated with t1,t2,and t3.

• A = t4~ {t1,t2,t3,t4}

• The Association of thought sequence t4 can be initiated by any members of the set.

t4 may trigger t1, t2, or t3

A= {t1, t2, t3, t4}

Any subset of A can result in an association with the other

members of the set.

Less e is now required to trigger an associated thought

sequence. This can be considered abstraction (as in

learning/thinking) and dissociation (as in trance).

Such associated thought sequences are considered to be latent. Latent functions require

less e and may result in the disabling of some cognitive

functions such as critical thinking.A>e2(t2)

For example: TV commercials make use of common thought

sequence associations. These latent sequences open an individual (via trance) to a

product or idea by suspending an individual’s critical thinking.

Dissociation (multiprocessing/multi-tasking) is a split. An individual is

utilizing latent sequencing simultaneously with an aware direct

thought sequence.

Example: Listening to this lecture and fighting

the urge to sleep.

A closed loop of repeating thought sequences is ‘L’

L2=e2There remains an awareness of e1 (the first loop L1). Therefore L2 = e1 squared. If L2 is the same as

L1, it is incorrect to call the second loop L2. It is the same thought

sequence being repeated.Repeating loops would then be L1 (e1) plus the memory (how many times the looping has occurred

minus 1).

The second loop of a thought sequence t1 becomes L1. At the end of the second loop, the L1

becomes m1.Memory (m) corresponds to the

number of loops or repetitions of a thought sequence. The next loop

begins as m1 + L1

m2 consists then of:

m1, e1, L1, and e1 squared.

The energy builds as the loops overlap. The memory increases

minus the first loop.

E1 is the current awareness.e1squared is a secondary

awareness energy. E1cubed is the third awareness energy.

M is equal to the total sum of all loops and energy minus the first

loop.

M1=(L1 + e1) + (L1-L1)

M2 =L1+L1+L1+e1squared-L1

D=e1 to the m

• Dissociative trance plane is the state in which an individual is dissociated from a trance and in a different trance state than the prior one. This model works under the assumption that all states involve some form of trance, including the waking state.

• The exception being E0 = D0

D0 is not a trance state.

<m~m2=<D * 2The greater number of repetitions, the deeper the trance. The lesser number of repetitions, the lighter

the trance. One memory loop (m1) occurring with another different memory loop (m2) results in a overlapping dissociated trance

plane.

When a trance generating loop L1 is even slightly altered– L2,

the dissociated trance plane will appear subjectively to be

different.

An interruption in a D trance loop results in a return to

thought sequence.

Time plays a role in trance induction. Loops that are short, when repeated rapidly, have a

greater chance of trance induction.

Thus, quick short advertisements are more

effective in producing dissociation, and Association with the thought sequences

within the loop, than long drawn out ones.

Fast flashing of flash cards results in faster learning by inducing dissociation and

thought sequence association.

Computer games can easily induce trance due to the fast

repetition of data and light/color/bits.

A life that is fast paced and consists of repetitions is more likely to have more periods of

trance.

• Trance can consist not only of dissociation but also association with thought sequences within a memory loop.

Trance can be interrupted by using disabled cognitive

functions (e0)

Trance can be stabilized by incorporating a secondary loop (L2) that consists of the original

memory loop ‘m’ and the dissociated trance plane. This

is accomplished by slightly altering ‘m’.

In hypnosis, deep trance can be induced by utilizing a trigger

word that was contained within the original memory loop.

Unusual voice or physiological elements can help to destabilize consciousness and prepare an

individual for trance.

At e0 the mind seeks a new thought sequence. When an individual is shocked out of a e1(t1) into e0 transition, the

mind will utilize the first option presented to it for t2. This is the

secret of hypnosis.

At e0, the hypnotist using a rapid induction method directs the

subject to go into S-sleep. The subject’s mind in confusion obeys

the t2: E1(t1)<e0<e2(t2)

In this case e2 is the hypnotists energy awareness, an external energy source-the thought is

accepted by the individual as their own.

An individual who rests in e0 has broken all trance states. Between each breath and

thought sequence is the greatest opportunity for finding eo.

E0 due to its destabilizing effect on consciousness is short lived.

• E0 non-trance state can be extended by increased m of e0. e0 can result in L0 loop.

• E0 can be used to re-direct trance states

• E0 can be used to break trance states

• E0/L0 may be the means to transformative experience and have greater m force than other m generating L loops due to the association that can occur

• E0/L0 is a state of witnessing a state between trance states

• E0 can consist of t1• E0 > t1 <t0• When e0 is greater than the witnessing t1, the t1 returns

to e0=t0• e0>t1>t0• E0 is greater than the witnessing t1. It returns to t0.

However, if the witnessing t1 is greater than t0, the witnessing t1 returns yet again. Thus, a cycle occurs in which:

• E0(t1)~E0(t0) resulting in a Loop• If the Loop continues, it develops into M• This M loop results in an increase of the M value• Within the E0(t1)~E0(t0) M loop can be found Unitive

• If a thought sequence becomes stronger than e, e0 is lost. It then becomes e1(t1).

• The very act of witnessing can become a reinforcing memory loop.

• The first state may be e0(t0) or eo(t1)• Both e0(t0) and e0(t1) can become loops in

themselves. When the two become operative in a trance state, they reinforce the trance. As the trance continues, the memory loops evolve into an association.

• The state of nothing e0(t0) is associated as being equal to e0(t1) everything.

• E0(t0) the state of Divine can be associated with e0(t1) State of Self

• It may be possible to have two witnesses within a trance, both of which are e0(t0).

• This would be a State of awareness of the divine witnessing itself as divine.

• Eo(t1)+E0(t1) = Self observing Self

• Because t1 is a member of the subset eo(t1) within the association of any of the following:

• {eo(t0), eo(t1)}• {e0(t1),eo(t1)}• {e0(to),eo(t1), e0(t0)}• Etc…• t1 can serve as a trigger for the

association

• Thus any thought sequences involved in the witnessing can activate the ability to recall the association and dissociative state

• This association allows the dissociative trance state to become a part of e1(t1) states.

• The association of eo(t0), eo(t1) unitive experience carries into the e1(t1) challenging, altering, and/or terminating other trance states.

Thus the unitive trance State can terminate other trance states

• Due to the e0 nature of the unitive association within the dissociative state, it carries more transformational effect than other trance states

• Trance states with a higher energy are not necessarily better at terminating or altering existing trance states.

• The memory loop that results in association seems to be an important element in trance alteration or termination in exchange for another trance

• The energy used to engineer, alter, or terminate trance states does not need to occur from within an individual

• Certain energies are more effective in trance engineering than other energies.

• Thus, an individual in transition e0 who encounters an energy will move into that energy unless the association with e0 is stronger than the incoming energy.

• An individual in e0(to),e0(t1) may already be in a stabilized trance state due to the doubling effect of two memory loops.

• If an additional energy is added to that trance state, the trance will be altered.

• If the individual re-directs energy, the trance will be altered.

• If a thought sequence alters the energy, the trance will be altered.

K represents a universal conscious energy source

K+A {e0(t0),e0(t1)} results in an alteration of the trance state

So that it now becomes K(e0*t0+t1)

• K at transition e0 results in e1(t1) changing to K(t2).

• K at e1 results in a destabilizing of e1(t1) and a sense of profound dis-orientation

• K at e0(t1) alters the trance to K(t1)

• K being unfamiliar and destabilizing to conscious awareness can result in profound psychic disturbance until K is stabalized or supplemented with the unitive association

• K(t0), K(t1) is a unitive or a crisis experience similar to the associative unitive experience of e0(t0),e0(t1).

• There are multiple layers of the unitive experience, the experience of Self, the experience of the Divine, and the experience of everything/nothing. There may be no end to mystical trance states except that k may be equal to never-ending e0. The experience of K–only, may be the final non-trance state, from which trance can be generated or entered into at will.

• The trance is altered depending on the number of memory loops, the development of association, the energy source, the presence or lack of witness, the duration of all the variables, and the force of the destabilization of prior trance states.
