Objectives To explain what living conditions were like for Black

people in the USA at the outbreak of World War Two.

Outcomes1. Study each image and write a headline to Describe

each one.2. Underneath each headline, add three bullet-points

to Explain how each scene affected the life experiences of Black people in the Southern states of the USA.

3. Using as much of the evidence from the images as possible, Describe (using plenty of adjectives) the problems faced by Black people before WWII.
