If the job is filled internally no action will be taken on your application but please continue to apply to future postings.

If the job is not filled internally your application will be reviewed by Central Management Services.

If your title requires an automated test you will be contacted by one of the testing centers to arrange date and time for testing.

If the title does not require and automated test and you submitted a CMS100 Employment Application, you will receive a grade notice in the mail.

Once you have an established grade from Central Management your name will be placed on the list of eligible candidates. The list will be sent to the state agency Human Resources. Priority will be given to highest grade candidates starting with “A” grades. If there is a large pool of candidates, individuals will be selected randomly from the list.

2. Be truthful, thorough, detailed and do not abbreviate.3. Be conscientious of the application closing date & time on the posting.4. Testing is by appointment only- CMS will contact you to schedule.5. Your grade is good for one year from your testing date.6. No grades will be issued for Non-Bargaining unit positions.7. You have 90 days to appeal your grade.8. Take advantage of Career Counseling Services.
