1 IntroductioniBoardTouch Interactive White-Board ("IWB"), a teaching/presentational software package usedwith iBoardTouch TouchScreens. It is a multimedia interactive teaching system and also can beused to make courseware and lesson plans. The software allied to the touch screen capabilitiesmakes a powerful combination of technologies for use in the classroom/meeting room,providing a natural way to write, draw, erase, manipulate media files, etc.
The software will work on any Windows 7 PC, and can be operated with a mouse insteadof/along with the touch screen.
The application offers built-in features for graphs, stencils, backgrounds, images andtemplates.
This guide covers the features with instructions on how to use them and get the best out of theapplication.

2 Installation & Registration
2.1 System RequirementsThe following minimum requirements of system properties are needed to ensure reliable
and responsive operation.

2.2 Installation
After downloading the "exe" file, double-click (icon ) it to start the installation.
It is recommended the installation be run as the Administrator.
When the installation starts, select the required language (English).
The following screen will appear in sequence on clicking "Next":

Installation takes no more than a minute. On completion the following screen appears. Click Finish.

2.3 Registration
By default the software allows up to 30 usage attempts before it forces registration.
2.3.1 Serial Key
Registration requires a serial key. This key is obtained by emailing support@iboardtouch.co.uk.
Each key can only be used on one PC.

2.4 Un-Installing IWB
There are 3 methods for removing/un-installing IWB:

Run the uninst.exe program directly from "C:\Program Files (x86)\iBoardTouch
IWB\uninst.exe".
Run the uninst.exe program via the "Uninstall" start menu item under "iBoardTouch IWB"
program group
Use the "Program & Features" option in "Control Panel"
2.4.1 Running uninst.exe Directly
Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iBoardTouch IWB".
Locate the "uninst.exe" file.
Double-click.

Click the "Start" menu, "All Programs" then locate "iBoardTouch IWB" and click.

3 IWB FeaturesThe software is designed to make best use of the touch screen technologies, including multi-
touch. Mouse operation on non-touch Windows PCs.
A summary of the features follows:
Supports various symbols, e.g.: Pinyin, geometry, mathematical functions, letters, musicsymbols, maps, electronic components, chemical elements, instrument, etc.
A variety of pens; a freehand pen for drawing anything, a smart pen which translates roughlyoutline drawn objects to regular shapes (circle, rectangle), and a calligraphy pen.
There are 5 kinds of erasers: small erase, middle-size erase, large erase, circle erase, figureerase and page erase.
Graphing tool translates a mathematical formula you input to a graph. Chart tool converts number data to charts. Control line thickness and colour.
Handwriting recognition.
Colour fill.
Hide/reveal screen areas using scratchpad or curtain.
Geometric measuring and drawing tools including Ruler, Set Square, Protractor, Compass.
It supports to capture a screen shot and put it on the current interface.
Screen recorder (with/without audio).
Capture images directly from attached camera.
Full-screen editing: display the page in full screen.
Encrypt: Encrypt file to prevent others from using it Custom Background: Change the background colour, background image.
Spotlight: highlight an area on the screen.
Drag: users can drag the whole page out of the screen, including all the materials.
Zoom in/out: users can enlarge and reduce the page or a part of this page.
Embed, rotate, annotate, flip, stretch video files

The Alphabetics stencils offer alpha characters that can beindividually select and manipulated.
A variety of languages are available, however the correctdisplay of these depends on the Windows Language settings.For example for the Chinese characters to show correctly, theChinese Language settings must be installed on the system.

Under the Science section there are symbols available grouped under "Maths", "Physics",
"Chemistry", "Biology".

4.1.10 Floating Toolbar
The floating toolbar appear initially down the right side of the screen.
The Floating Toolbar can be switched to the left or rightmost part of
the screen using the button.
It has two forms, depending on the current mode - Windows Modeor IWB Mode.
IWB mode is the normal mode where the IWB application is in activeview. In Windows Mode the main IWB window is hidden and theWindows Desktop become active, but allowing the IWB functions beused on the desktop - see the Windows Mode section below.

5 Document Management FunctionsThe IWB application saves the pages in a fi

5.1 Create New DocumentWhen the IWB application starts it opens with a blank one page document which can be drawnafter drawing, a new document is required, select the "File" and "New" icon from the commontoolbar:
