For my son - my inspiration - love you forever and for always. ILUTTo my illustrator - your generosity will never be forgotten.

For my family - thanks for supporting my doodles. To my author - you beat me to the punch!

I wish there were two of me.

Let me tell you why.1

If there were two of me

I’d get the other me...2

and tidy up my toys,

To eat my yellow vegetables

3

and then my nap,

To take my bath

4

and yes, please finish my other chores.

5

I’d say, “Now hurry up Other Me,

put on your shoes and don’t forget your coat.”6

“It’s time for my haircut Other Me,

mother has left a note.”7

And while Other Me did all that.

I’d play and laugh.8

I’d watch some kid TV.

9

10

How marvelous my life will be,

if there are two of me.11

But what if Other Me,

tells me to get up off the floor...12

and tidy up my toys?

and eat my yellow vegetables

13

and then that nap,

To take that bath

14

And oh yes, please finish all the chores!

15

Now I know this will not work –

if there are just two me’s.16

I’ve changed my mind, I’ve got to wish...17

To wish for three of me!
