What is Acid Rain?

NATURAL Causes:

CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) in the atmosphere.

HUMAN Causes:

Emissions of SULPHUR DIOXIDE (SO2) and NITROUS OXIDES (NOx) from cars and factories.

Acid rain is in fact rain which has been turned acidic (acid is a pH of 6.0 or below) when water in clouds chemically reacts with natural CO2 or human pollution.
