canseethatit’slooksoverlycomplicatedandmuchmoredifficulttoread.

Forthisreason,jazzmusiciansunderstandthatswingrhythmisimpliedfor8th

notes.Imaginehowdifficultitwouldbetoreadaleadsheetortranscriptionifall

ofthe8thnoteswerenotatedlikethis.

Thissymbolalsoindicatesswingrhythmandyou
