ONLINE APPLICATION TIPSBefore beginning your online app:

Print unofficial transcripts for all colleges attended

You will need:

dates of attendance for each campus

course completion information for CSU "Golden Four"- English, Critical Think., Speech, Math

to calculate cumulative and individual campus GPA

ONLINE APPLICATION TIPS, CONT.Calculating your Grade Point Average (GPA):• View your unofficial transcripts for each college you attended

– Scroll all the way down and look at the cumulative GPA without NDA section for the following:

• Units Attempted (UA-first column)

• Units Completed (UC-second column)

• Grade Points (GP-third column)

– Delete any points from courses that are not transferrable: courses that do not say “CS” or “SU” (example: Math 125 or English 28)

– Divide the grade point (GP) total by the units attempted (UA) to get the GPA

GPA = Grade Points (GP) ÷ Units Attempted (UA)

ONLINE APPLICATION TIPSCalculating “all transferrable undergraduate college GPA”:

1. Add the totals for all your Grade Points (GP) for all colleges: after removing non-transferrable courses

2. Add the totals for all your Units Attempted (UA) for all colleges: after removing non-transferrable courses

3. Divide by the total number of Units Attempted (UA) for all colleges (after removing non-transferrable courses)

4. Do not average the GPA’s for multiple campuses because that could give you an incorrect GPA
