What does it eat?• It eats decomposing plant material, such as

ripened fruit fallen from a tree.

How do they look?• An adult rhinoceros beetle looks tough. Its is

hard, black shell, six legs, and wings. It also has a long curved horn on it’s head. The horn makes the beetle look like a rhino.

Larvae • A Rhinoceros Beetle Larvae is called a Grub. It

doesn’t look much like an adult beetle because it looks like a soft fat tube.

Predators• Rhinoceros beetle predators are Orangutans,

and Monkeys, and Asian people like to eat the larvae.

Scientific name!!!• Coleoptera Scarabaeidae! Remember that!!
