Memorial
City of Big Rapids
Summer of 2015. Local businesses begin to donate their time and materials to assist with costs associated to the Memorial.
2016 the park was designated as a Blue Star Memorial By-Way. The MOISD Career Center made benches to assist with additional fundraising efforts.
Summer 2016. The committee and Big Rapids High School football team volunteered their time to insert the bricks ordered from community members.
Late Summer 2016 Ferris State University, Welding Department, constructed the four pillars around the Memorial.
Veteran & Homefront Heroes Dedication was on August 6, 2016.
