Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Hilbert Circle Theatre, and the Indianapolis Symphony’s inaugural INfusion Music Fest! This weekend, the ISO is celebrating the connections between music and the environment. The idea behind INfusion was to find a way to connect the ISO’s musical work with an important issue facing our community. We are grateful that so many organizations have stepped forward to join the ISO on this adventure, and I would like to thank our community partners: Hoosier Environmental Council, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc., Earth Charter Indiana, the Indianapolis Zoo, Christian Theological Seminary, Indiana Forest Alliance and IndyGo. I also want to thank our sponsors for making INfusion possible: the Efroymson Family Fund, the Lacy Foundation, Eli Lilly and Co., and Ann M. and Chris Stack. In keeping with the festival theme, the ISO is making a commitment to reduce its own impact on the environment, beginning with: A 10% reduction in energy usage The installation of recycling stations in the HCT The recycling and transformation of all festival banners by People for Urban Progress
We thank you for being with us, and hope you will take advantage of the many concerts and presentations that are planned for INfusion!
Sincerely,
Gary GinstlingChief Executive Officer

residency with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, helping to expand the orchestra’s audience with innovative outreach.
Tf3 remains committed to reaching younger audiences by
participating in educational residencies and outreach concerts, including annual visits to Paul Newman’s Hole In The Wall Gang
Camp; residencies at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall Family Concerts; and countless jam sessions and instances
of impromptu music-making with students, from university classes to coffee houses.

SAN FERMIN
Brooklyn-based San Fermin, now an eight-piece touring enterprise, did not start that way. In December of 2012, the
initially makeshift project performed a single concert—from sheet music—and signed a record deal. Their self-titled debut
was subsequently released worldwide in the fall of 2013 via Downtown Records.
Many of the songs on Jackrabbit, San Fermin’s second album, existed only on Ludwig-Leone’s laptop for the better part of a year, as he toured and turned the band into an ensemble operation. When at last he revisited them, he knew that they
had to be reborn.
