EXT. UNIVERISTY OF ALBANY-EVENING

ANDREW SHERMAN (early 20’s, tall, skinny, with a beard) isleaving from his anthropology class, he puts his headphonesin and turns on his ipod.

His ipod starts playing Oh Darling by The Beatles.PROFFESOR

See you all on Monday, Have a goodWeekend.

Walking back to his dorm room, he looking at the large jaillike cement buildings throughout his campus. He enters hisdorm building, takes the elevator up to the 4th floor andputs the key in the door. He walks into his room throws hisbag on his couch, and sits down at his computer. He checkshis e-mail and then goes on facebook. His phone rings, hepicks it up.

INT. DORM ROOM-SOON AFTER

ANDREWHello?

ALYSSA (bubbly)

Hey baby, what are you up to?

Andrew gets up from his desk and walks over to the closet. Hegoes through an old sneaker box and pulls out a clock looking

wooden vaporizer box. He sits back down at his desk and plugsinto the wall. He sets the digital number to 250.

ALYSSA (CONT’D)(concerned)

You sound busy...

ANDREWOh no, I'm not busy, I just gotback from class,I’m great, so happyits the weekend now. What are youup to tonight?

ALYSSA Well I think me and some of thegirls are going to go out to thisgay bar with a couple of the guysdown the hall.

ANDREWGay bar? Really? What guys?

ALYSSA Yeah it should be really fun! Yaknow Chris and Dave down the hall,the two theater majors...

ANDREW(annoyed)Oh right, right, those guys.

Andrew breaks up some pot on his desk and sprinkles some intothe hose of the vaporizer. He takes a hit from the hose andexhales.

ANDREW (CONT’D)(exhaling)

well baby, have fun tonight, besafe.

ALYSSA Thanks baby, I will, do you know

what your doing tonight?

ANDREWNah, not yet, I may just stay inand drink on campus with myneighboor, ya know nothing tocrazy...

Andrew continues to hit the hose. He scrolls through hisitunes library.

ALYSSA Ok, well you have fun. I’ll textyou when I get back tonight.

ANDREWOk sounds good baby, love you, bye.

ALYSSA Love you too! Bye!

Andrew puts down his phone and clicks on Kaya by Bob Marley.

ANDREW(singing)We-e-e-e-e-ell, I feel so high, Ieven touch the skyAbove the fallin' rain!

Andrew goes back on his computer and continues to the browsethe web. He checks his facebook again, and views SEAN Berns’spage. Seans’s status reads “at the pool. I love Tampa.”

EXT. UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA POOL-DAY

Sean Berns (early 20’s, long dark hair, tall, attractive) issitting by the pool his two guy friends and two pretty girls

to the side of him.SEAN

(frantic)Yo, what time is it?

BRIANUh, its four o’clock.

SEANShit, I got class at four thirty, Igot to go back to my room and getready.

Sean stands up and grabs his towel. He checks his cell phone.

JESSOh don’t go, its so nice out.

SAMYeah, just stay here with us, weare going to go to the park after.

SEANI would love to, I really would,but I got to go, I can’t miss thisclass. Its experimental film makingand I missed it on Tuesday.

Sean starts walking away.

SEAN (CONT’D)I’ll give you guys a call when Iget out, then we’ll hit up thepark.

BRIANAlright man, later.

INT. UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA VAUGHN CENTER- MOMENTS LATER

Sean walks into his hotel like dorm building. He scans hiscard up to the 6th and unlocks the door the his room. He hopsin the shower, and changes before class. He grabs his bookand an external hard-drive. His phone rings on his way outthe door.

ANDREWNot to much man, just seeing what’s

good.SEAN

Ah, not to much man, but look I’m on my way to class, but Ill giveyou a call later.

ANDREWAlright man, later.

SEANLater.

Sean hangs up the phone right before entering his class room.

INT.UNIVERISTY OF TAMPA CASS BUILDING COMPUTER ROOM-SOONAFTER

Sean is sitting in a small computer lab, with all Applecomputers. There are 11 other students in the room. They areall facing the teacher.

PROFFESOR PLAYSSo today we are going to be takinga look at blackbox and then we aregoing to watch some moreexperimental films having to do

with superimposition.

Sean turns towards his friend KYLE sitting next to him.

SEAN(whispering)

We always watch the weirdest filmsin this class. I’m just ready forthe weekend man. Are we shootingthis weekend?

KYLEYeah, man I know what you mean. I’dlike to shoot this weekend. We got3 projects due next week.

SEANI know, it sucks, I haven't evenstarted them, I don’t even know

what I’m doing for these.

KYLESame here, I'm just going to take alook at the syllabus tonight andfigure out what I want to shoot. I

was thinking the montage one, with

over 50 shoots or something...SEAN

Yeah, that sounds good.

The class continues and Sean and Kyle talk to each otherthrough out the rest of class. The clock reads 5:45 pm.

PROFFESOR PLAYSAlright well, I guess that's it fortoday...make sure you shoot this

weekend so you can hand in yourfilm Monday morning. Have a good

weekend every body.

Sean and Kyle walk out the class room and head back towardsthe Vaughn Center. They casually walk though beautifulcampus. The buildings are nice and new, there are palm treesall around, and cobble stone road.

EXT. UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA CAMPUS-EVENING

SEANSo what are you going to do now?

KYLEProbably go the park, it’s the

weekend, im ready to sit back andrelax.

SEANYeah man, I hear ya. I think I’m going to do the same.

KYLEI would say come with me,but I’m

meeting up with these girls and my

boy otherwise id invite you.SEAN

Its cool man, no biggie.

They both enter the Vaughn center and walk into the elevator.

SEANI was suppose to meet up with Brian

and SCOTT anyway. I think they werelooking to go to the park too, orthey might have already, I don’tknow.

The elevator stops at the 4th floor. Kyle gets out.

KYLEAlright, well I’ll hit you up laterthis weekend to shoot.

SEANSounds good man, later.

The elevator closes and moves up to the 6th floor. Sean getsout. He walks back into his room and takes out his phone tocall back Andrew. He dials his number. The phone rings.
