AGLS sets students on the path to success

Academic uncertainty afflicts many of our students.

AGLS helps students that:

Have had a change of heart Are looking for a home Do not enjoy current major Acknowledging weaknesses and strengths Facing academic problems

Our main goal is to Admit and Retain so they can transfer out to their desired major and go on to graduate….!

• Texas four year graduation averages for four year public universities is: 49.3%

• National average is : 29.9 %• Texas rates are better than the national average but we are still

lagging significantly behind our peer schools nationwide.

1. University of Virginia: 85% graduation rate

2. College of William & Mary: 82%

3. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: 76%

Can we do a better job?
