CORONAVIRUS – COVID-19

Information for all pupils and adults connected with Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA

All schools and education settings are being sent regular guidance from the

Public Health Wales regarding the current outbreak of coronavirus.

General information to help prevent the spread of all types of viruses:

Wash hands with soap and water often.

Pupils, students, staff and visitors should wash their hands:

before leaving home

on arrival at school

after using the toilet

after breaks and sporting activities

before food preparation or before eating any food, including snacks

before leaving school

If handwashing facilities are not available, hand sanitiser should be

used. (bottles have been placed in all reception areas and classrooms

Covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throwing the tissue in

a bin. Catch it, Bin it, Kill it;

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
