HUM 355 Habitat for Humanity Travel to Romania PrepSpring 2020,2 credits

This class is required of students taking the Habitat for Humanity Travel to Romania class, but it can also be a standalone 2-credit class.

CIV/HUM 355 Habitat for Humanity Travel to RomaniaMay 29-June 13 2020,2 credits

Students will travel to Romania where they will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and explore Romania. The course will begin with visits to Bucharest and Southern Transylvania where students will learn about Romania’s history,

culture, politics, art, architecture, and food. The second week of the course will be spent at a Habitat for Humanity site where students will be part of a team with the

goal of helping the international community by building housing for low-income families.

No prerequisites. Meets IDP and CE core requirements.
