This is the 2nd CD where you can see what Italian pupils and teachers from Lucca did for our

European project from November 2011 till

February2012 .

Legends and tales: a bridge to my European world!

ITALY Comenius Project 2011 - 2013

MEETING IN ITALY March 2nd-10th 2012

When teachers came back home from Polish meeting, pupils knew more things about

Polish culture

Not just legends…pupils tasted Polish candies too!

For Christmas time, more classes dedicated their workcrafts to Comenius project.

So CASTLES for Christmas balls, for crib, for

Christmas cards… and so on .

A peaceful crib inside the castle

Christmas tree full of

snowing castles.

A visit to Vicopisano castle

Pupils from Infant school visited a castle near Pisa.

And they went INSIDE the castle…

Fortunately, no ghosts!!!!

A castle???No, that’s a

typical Tuscany cake

made with chestnut flour.

So pupils learnt many recipes from old ages.

Carnival time 1

For Carnival time students prepared some invitations to the Carnival party:

• Everyone has to wear “castle clothes”

• But no swords!!!

Carnival 2

• Some pupils decided to wear “legend clothes” for Carnival time.

• Before they learnt about famous legends in Tuscany.

• Then they wear clothes as they were legend characters
