The Addison Gallery of American ArtThe Addison is a world-renowned museum respected for its extensive collection of American art. The collection includes nearly 17,000 works by artists such as Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe, and John Singleton Copley. In addition to serving as an invaluable educational resource for PA students and faculty, the museum is open to the public free of charge and serves more than 6,000 public school students from local towns, who visit the museum to view its ever-changing exhibitions. Open Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 1–5 p.m.
Elson Art CenterThe Elson Art Center is the home of the Polk-Lillard Electronic Imaging Center (PLC), equipped to create and manipulate professional graphics and video. The PLC is open Saturday, 8 a.m.–noon, and Sunday, 1:30–9:15 p.m.
Gelb Science CenterThe Gelb Science Center is a beautiful, environmentally sensitive, and technologically state-of-the-art facility that enables students to learn science by doing science. Its 58,000 square feet of teaching space offers flexibility to serve both laboratory and traditional class activities. Informal study areas, offices, and meeting spaces invite out-of-classroom collaboration between faculty and students. Open Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.
Oliver Wendell Holmes LibraryThe OWHL librarians offer an active teaching program and research consultation service aimed at empowering students to become effective, creative, and ethical lifelong learners. The library provides ready access to a vast collection of authoritative, accurate, and relevant information. OWHL’s lower level is home to the campus Computer Center. While at the library, borrow an iPod Nano at the circulation desk for a self-paced electronic tour of the library’s treasures. Open Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.–9:15 p.m.
Paresky CommonsSince it first opened in 1930, this historic building has provided many generations of Andover students a welcoming place to dine, relax, and meet with friends and faculty. Renovated in 2009, Paresky has four dining halls, two serveries, a café area, and a student lounge called Susie’s. Open Saturday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Robert S. Peabody Museum of ArchaeologyMeet the staff and enjoy presentations on the Peabody’s exciting programs for students. Be sure to check out Objects and Their Stories: Highlights from the Robert S. Peabody Museum. This exhibition is a retrospective look at how objects collected by the Peabody Museum reflect past intellectual perspectives of the collectors, influenced the development of archaeology as a discipline, and encapsulate Native American histories and how they are presently understood. Open Saturday, 9:15 a.m.–2 p.m.

Robert S. Peabody Museum of ArchaeologyMeet the staff and enjoy presentations on the Peabody’s exciting programs for students. Be sure to check out Objects and Their Stories: Highlights from the Robert S. Peabody Museum. This exhibition is a retrospective look at how objects collected by the Peabody Museum reflect past intellectual perspectives of the collectors, influenced the development of archaeology as a discipline, and encapsulate Native American histories and how they are presently understood. The Addison Gallery of American ArtThe Addison is a world-renowned museum respected for its extensive collection of American art. The collection includes nearly 17,000 works by artists such as Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe, and John Singleton Copley. In addition to serving as an invaluable educational resource for PA students and faculty, the museum is open to the public free of charge and serves more than 6,000 public school students from local towns, who visit the museum to view its ever-changing exhibitions. Open Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 1–5 p.m.
Elson Art CenterThe Elson Art Center is the home of the Polk-Lillard Electronic Imaging Center (PLC), equipped to create and manipulate professional graphics and video. The PLC is open Saturday, 8 a.m.–noon, and Sunday, 1:30–9:15 p.m.
Gelb Science CenterThe Gelb Science Center is a beautiful, environmentally sensitive, and technologically state-of-the-art facility that enables students to learn science by doing science. Its 58,000 square feet of teaching space offers flexibility to serve both laboratory and traditional class activities.
