Gram is all about making sophisticated sneakers. We create shoes that fill the gap between sneak-ers and traditional shoes.Our roots lie in the Scandinavian design aesthet-ic; design with clean lines and attention to details. Each model being unique in its own simplicity.

The brand is centered around the concept of weight, with each shoe being named after its weight in grams. The brand started in 2005 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

POST-WAR SOUTH PACIFIC

Swedish sophisticated sneakers never looked better than Grams collection for spring/summer 2013. Inspiration drawn from post-war South Pacific, Technicolor, beatnik fashion and 50’s positivism warrant for a collection truly fit for some refined summer fun.

Gram invites you to celebrate a sophis-ticated, colorful season drawing inspira-tion from the islands of post-war South Pacific. Romanticized poster art com-bined with a gentle breeze through the palm trees of Mindanao and some beat-nik vacation lit set the tone for a collec-tion representing hope, emancipation and a new era of anti-conformism. New this season is the 358g – Grams first ever take on a ladies shoe. Fusing the cool Scandinavian aesthetic of Gram with a more seductive heel height, trans-forming the classic Swedish clog into a patio-sippin, club-hopping, tireless night-life companion. Muted colours of uniform blue and washed out OD green serve as the backdrop for a more naïve and saturat-ed palette of coral reef fish, camouflage overlayed with bauhinia flower prints, and monochromatic flashes of klein blue and electric orange. Drum dyed full grain cow holds up the

leather end of the collection, offering a smooth, durable and completely supe-rior comfort in shades of chestnut, dark OD green and black. Craftsmanship continues to be an im-portant component that shows through in every style, from raw brass trims and hand stitching to Gram’s own version of brogue décor, punched hole for hole by skilled artisans. Parts of the collection are also bench made and hand lasted, for a more precise fit and elegant finish.As with all Gram collections, this is also made not only to stand the test of time, but also to register time itself, forever capturing your memories in faded fab-rics, darkened leathers and oxidized metals.

comes in everything from the classic black full grain leather and white, summery cotton canvas to a artisan heavy

The low top of the Heavy Weight-line, the 488g, is a charismatic mixture of several wellknown

classics; the derby, the hiker, the deck shoe & the work boot. The two main styles with either rollers &

hooks or eylets expresses two different sides of this unique shoe. With a low slung and chunky silhouette it

almost seems glued to the ground. Fully leather lined with anatomical foam rubber insole for unrivaled comfort

and breathability. Heavy duty lacing hardware, resting on an 18 mm, bottom stitched, pure rubber outsole

with inverted lug pattern for serious grip. These are rugged shoes with loads of personality and a

clear favourite of the Head Designer himself.

Since the 380g was conceived it has time and time again proven itself to be the ultimate casual dress shoe for

metropolitan rebels. Embodying the essence of classic men’s footwear with its simple derby cut and pairing it with a

sneaker like, light weight, dura-lite outsole and rubber heel for unrivalled comfort. Using only carefully selected pre-

mium materials and genuine handcraft during the production process, every 380g is hand lasted by skilled artisans

and matched pair by pair, for the ultimate dressed up comfort experience. The drum dyed full grain aniline leather

ensures a beautiful ageing process of the shoe. The leather is left untreated after dyeing, which leaves

the natural surface of the leather bare and allows it to breathe more easily, creating a wearable shoe that

will get more beautiful with time.

A natural progression of a hi-top from the familiar 380g in the Light Weight-line. The 390g offers a

comfortable jodphur lace up hybrid with great detail, such as the Norwegian toe stitch. Resting on the

same newly developed dura-lite outsole as the 380g with the same durable natural rubber heel.

The 390g is a shoe boot that mixes classic with modern. High quality drum dyed full grain cow

leather with nylon canvas. Raw brass eyelets and hand-punched patterns. This is a shoe to

wear a lot, that features an anatomical insole, tempered steel shank and a full leather lining.

Gram updates the casual take on a penny loafer from 2009, the 345g. Enter the 366g. Pairing elegant lines with

utilitarian fabrics in striking colours and a hand stitch made to stand out in a crowd.

Soft suede, washed out nylon and hand-stitched detailing sit a top a tried and trued bottom stitched deck sole for

unparallelled comfort and durability throughout the summer. Norwegian toe stitch and split penny strap add a touch

of avantgarde against an otherwise rich colour scheme.

of footwear’s most generic products and well known shapes and re-engineering it to fit the modern Gram customer.

The 352g is an action packed new take on a classic, with high quality materials, a fully dampened insole, logo out-

sole with proprietary pattern and full attention to detail.

This is a super comfortable, relaxed way to spend your summer. Anywhere you choose.

New this season is the cotton rip-stop that allows heavy usage of this summer favourite. The leather toe cap of the

cotton canvas styles gives that extra edge and durability needed for endless summer fun.

For many men the briefcase and the canvas tote are the only two options for carrying stuff around.

We agree. At least on the canvas tote.

For SS13 Gram presents a tote bag in one of this season’s selected fabrics, blue aquarium. Consisting of a screen printed 12oz double cotton canvas and a heavy duty 16oz cotton can-vas, this tote is made to last. Brass snap-buttons at the top and a high definition two sided print finish off the full gusset con-struction.

The tote is carried either in the longer webbing strap or the shorter handles. Size: 34cmx8cmx46cm

Three vastly different colourways cater for all tastes, from an all black, patent leather luxury version, to a

breezy offwhite suede offering, bringing a sense of genuine Scandi- navian purity, with its untreated wood plat-

form and hand printed fabric from Swedish Jobs Handtryck.

380g has under- gone a complete transformation to create a shoe for women. The reconstruction, giving it a nar-

rower last with a longer toe, makes it fit a more narrow foot.

THE COLLABJOBS HANDTRYCKSwedish Jobs Handtryck is a true handi-craft extraordinaire. Situated in the beau-tiful region of Dalarna in the small vil-lage of Insjön, where they manufacture unique and timeless high quality fabrics. Jobs floral fabrics are printed entire-ly by hand, just as they were when it all began in 1944. Core focus is always the artist’s patterns with remarkable high quality. Printing by hand takes precision, ex-perience and patience. One cliché for every colour and 12-28 colours per pat-tern is a time consuming business. All JOBS colours are mixed by hand and consist of water, algae, salt and col-our pigment. Mixing is an art form all by it self.

This is why we love their products. And this is why we think making shoes from handprinted cotton/linen fabric is a good idea. We simply love unique, one-of-a-kind design statements. In our collection for spring/summer 2013 we use the Jobs fabric Pumpor (Pumpkins). Since Jobs fabrics are de-signed for large items like furniture, the pattern repetitions are very big. This makes every shoe unique. Some with lots of colour, some more subdued with only fragments of pattern detail.
