ACTIVITIES 2017-2018

The Dept.of Political Science arranged a pledge with students on AUGUST 9TH,2017 at seminar

hall – “SANKALP SE SIDDHI” a new India pledge with the combination of History Dept .

The Dept. of Political Science arranged a field trip to Kondapalli Khilla, Krishna (Dt) with the

students of Political Science.

We celebrated GANDHI JAYANTHI on 2nd oct, at our college in this gathering

Smt.B.Anuradhadevi Lecturer in Hindi addressed the students. Smt.M.Padmaja Lect. In Political

Science told about GANDHIJI’S biography , ideology etc.

The Dept.of Pol.Science celebrated Constitutional Day on 26th Nov 2017 in our college.In this

occasion the Dept. invited a retired MRO as a Chief-Guest.He addressed the students about our

freedom fighters sacrifices and State craft.Later we did a pledge of our Constitution Preamble.

The Dept. Of Political Science arranged a Guest Lecture on behalf of WORLD HUMAN RIGHTS

DAY on 10th Dec in our college. Smt.N.Subashini Lec. In Political Science GDC Chebrolu

participated as a resource person in this programme.

G.Pranathi 2nd B.A. C.E. participated in ANU –Youth fest 2018 in the division cartooning. The

theme of cartooning is Demonitisation.She got first prize in that competition.

The Dept. conducted a district level competitions on behalf of NATIONAL VOTERS DAY in this

competitions most of the degree colleges of Guntur district are participated quiz, painting ,

elecution, essay wrilting competitions are conducted in our college.

On 25th January , our Dept. arranged a Voter’ pledge along with Guntur Municipal Corporation

in our college. Our Principal Dr.CH.PULLA REDDY GARU,Smt.B.ANURADHADEVI Lec. In Hindi

,Smt.M.PADMAJA Lec. In Political Science and students are participated in this programme .

Our student P.Asha Latha III B.A. (P.E.P) participated in State level essay writing competitions on

the occasion of NATIONAL VOTERS DAY 2018 at Amaravathi,A.P.

The Dept. of Humanities conducted a group discussion on “VICTORY ON POVERTY” on behalf of

JANMABHUMI-MANA VOORU Programme 2018 at GCW(A),Guntur.

Smt.M.Padmaja Lec. in Pol.Science participated in JANMABHUMI-MANA VOORU Programme at

Kornuthala,Guntur district along with our college NSS Units.
