Government’s ICT Division Authorizes MIST to Validate Medical Equipment for Addressing COVID-19 Crisis MIST’S Biomedical Engineering Department is entrusted by the Government’s ICT Division as the lead organization in the country with the task to provide extensive emergency support to ‘Test, QC and Validate’ medical devices to ensure medical grade and global standard and guidelines for addressing the COVID-19 crisis. A good number of national companies/organizations applied for testing their developed ‘Ventilator’ from MIST and many are in the pipeline. Few glimpses of testing by MIST are given below:
