Dr. B.R.Ambedkar who was born on April 14 was well known as Babasaheb. He was a jurist, economist, politician and social reformer who inspired the Modern Buddhist Movement and campaigned against social discrimination against Untouchables.

He was Independent India's first law minister and was the architect of the Constitution of India. Dr. Ambedkar was a genius student and earned a law degree and many other doctorates from Columbia University, US and London School of Economics, UK.
