some tech. integration?

Do you have a unit where you’d like students to use online tools (games, videos, etc.)?

Select CREATE NEW GLOG

Your glog will open with a few items. You can click on those items and delete them (click on the trash can OR hit the delete key).

Your glog should now look like this. You can explore and create in any order. I like to choose my wall (or background) first.

Click on WALL at the bottom of the magnet tool to change the background.

You can use a solid color.

You can use a gallery image.

You can upload and use your own image (click my pictures, then upload).

Once you’ve selected a wall, it’s time to play with the other features. There are many parts of the magnet tool.

Graphics = clip art from the Glogster gallery

Text: choose title, bubble or stickers

Image: you upload yourself

Video: you upload a video file OR paste in a URL for a video OR record your own video right in Glogster (if you have a webcam)

Sound: you upload a song or sound file OR record your own narration right in Glogster

Data: you can attach Word, PowerPoint, and Excel docs they will be tagged to the paperclip in the bottom right hand corner of the glog

Draw: a simple pencil tool

• As you work on your glog, save your work frequently.

• The first time you save, you will need to give it a title and a category.

• You will then have a URL and an embed code for your glog. You can email yourself the link so that you and your students can access it without having to login to Glogster.

Have fun!
