a. Installation of 5scending ?o$er
Chec2 C? efore installation. ount ascending to$er as per series numer on
products. a2e sure the C? nameplate face outside of oil tan2 and place air loc2 at
highest part of ascending to$er. Jhen tightening olts of flange= ma2e sure that
gas2et is placed in right position in ad#ance= and then scre$ olts graduall and
e#enl.

5ssign person speciall monitoring the stand of E3 ushing from horizontal status.
&rection is to e carried out rigger cooperating $ith electrical installer $ith hoo2
and manual hoist as detailed in Plate 1. Place olster e.g. ruer plate or timer
oard under ottom end of ushing. Protect ushing at $here ma contact chain or
rigging $ith ruer plate. Prior to mounting ushing to transformer= clean carefull
the central hole and ushing end that immersed in oil. o#e ushing slo$l to
ao#e of ascending to$er= regulate position of Phase 5 and C= and let fall ushing
slo$l into ascending to$er. 'o not hit ushing on ascending flange. Rigger and
crane operator shall cooperate closel. Open hand hole co#er on ascending to$er=
and $ire E3 lead to ushing panel.

crac2 and fla2e off on porcelain sealing surface of flange. Clean ushing surface.

porcelain on oil tan2 case.

motor and impeller of fan shall e securel installed= and smooth and no loc2 in
rotation. %o distortion of impeller and no contact $ith air duct.
5fter installation of rac2= lift and mo#e cooler slo$l to a#oid collision. )asten it on
rac2= appl flange olts $ithout tighten. Position cooler #erticall and ma2e it $ell,
distriuted. )asten cross piece= and then tighten flange olts.
+7. Pipe Connection= Pump and Oil flo$ Rela Installation
Clean oil pipe efore installationM pump shall e insulated efore installationM
e$are of the impeller direction $hen installing oil flo$ rela. Regulate impeller to
right position tightening nut.
e. Chec2 of On,load ?ap Changer
Chec2 contactor of on,load tap changer O>?C7 as re@uired in manufacturerDs
instruction and confirm the correctness of positionM chec2 operation mechanism
and confirm the correctness of position
f. Installation of Pressure Relief 3al#e
a2e sure flange connecting pressure relief #al#e on oil tan2 is le#el and no slag
on it. Place o,ring $ith adhesi#e to pre#ent it from displacing $hen tightening.
)asten olt at re@uired moment manufacturer. )ace oil outlet on of
pressure relief #al#e to a open space.
g. Installation of Capsule,tpe 3acuum Conser#ator
17. Inside of conser#ator shall e clean. %o scratches are found on capsule. ount
a #al#e and pressure gauge on flange of capsule to test air tightness. 5ppl a 82Pa
pressure on capsule and close #al#e. Pressure shall not reduce $ithin -.! hour.
+7. )i0 rac2 and mount conser#ator on it tightl.
*7. Connect to gas rela pipe and install gas rela after filling oil under #acuum.
47. )it e0haust pipe= oiling pipe= and oil discharging pipe. Install matching stop
#al#es at the ottom of these pipes. 'uring pipe fitting= ma2e sure that seal ring
has een place on the interface.
!7. ?ear off seal on co#er of reather efore installation. ?ighten olt after seal ring

h. Installation of Gas Rela

47. Pipe directl connected to rela shall ha#e a proper gradient $ithin -N !N.
!.+.< Oil )ill under 3acuum
5fter installation of transformer= chec2 and confirm that no tools and materials left
inside of transformer oil tan2. Close co#er of transformer= and fill oil under #acuum.
5fter installation of all accessories= open #al#e connecting gas chamer and oil
chamer at t$o sides of oil conser#ator. a2e sure e@ual pressure inside of
capsule to a#oid damage. 5fter confirmation of all parts connecting of od of
transformer can ear #acuum operation manufacturer $ho shall confirm it in
ad#ance. Parts unale to ear #acuum shall e isolated from #acuation7= open all
#al#es connecting transformer od and start #acuation including od. 'uring
#acuation of oil tan2= chec2 tightness at all times. Stop #acuum pump if necessar
for con#enience of listen to lea2ing sound.

Generator ?ransformer
If acti#e part chec2 and remounting are unale to e finished in one da= satisfied
transformer oil shall e filled into transformer. Resume remounting after draining
oil. Jhen remounting complete= carr out #acuumizing and oil filling under #acuum.
Oil in on,load tap changer has een drained. Connected oil tan2 $ith on,load tap
changer chamer $ith H pipe to ma2e oth of them e #acuumized. Connect oil
pipe of on,load tap changer to ma2e it e filled $ith oil under #acuum together $ith
transformer.
Connect #acuumizing pipe= and turn on #acuum pump. 3acuumize till 1**Pa
1torr7= and 2eep it for < hours= during $hen= fill oil #isa ottom #al#e at oil tan2
Plate +7 $ith oil flo$ less than !t"h and stop filling till oil le#el is 1--mm from co#er
of oil tan2. ean$hile= fill satisfactor transformer oil to chamer of on,load tap
changerM 2eep it under #acuum for < hours. Release #acuum= and dismantle
#acuum pipe and e#acuation e@uipment.
Install supplementar oil pipe at filling #al#e of conser#ator. add oil #isa top of oil
tan2 to pre#ent air from entering #acuumized oil tan2 of transformer.7
5dd oil to proper le#el according amient temperature $hen oil is filled.

Hnit 5u0iliar ?ransformer
3acuumize transformer till +1.*2Pa 16-rorr7 as re@uired manufacturer. Eold the
status for -.!,1 hour. )ill oil #isa ottom #al#e at rate not igger than !t"h= and stop
filling and release #acuum till oil le#el reaching at $here 1--mm from top of oil
tan2. Open all #al#es connecting od to accessories= and add oil till proper le#el
as per temperature at that time.

5fter filling oil under #acuum to transformer od= hot oiling shall e carried out in
follo$ing procedures as re@uired manufacturer(
17 ?ransformer connects to oil filter #isa upper and lo$er filter #al#e to form a
closed circulation. Oil direction is from filter to top of transformer= and from ottom
of transformer ac2 to filter.
+7 Eeat the oil to e transferred from filter to transformer to !-,6-.
*7 eep oil circulating till total oil @uantit through transformer e0ceeding + times of
oil tan2 capacit= $hile time of circulation shall not less than 4< hours as re@uired.
47 5fter the $hole oil filling process= sample transformer oil for test again.
!.+.18 O#erall ?ightness Chec2 and Placement
)ill dr air or nitrogen #isa reather at oil conser#ator to chec2 the o#erall
tightness. 5ppl -.-*Pa pressure to oil co#er for +4 hours and no lea2age shall
e found. 5fter filling oil and efore appl #oltage= place G? for 4< hours and E3
unit au0iliar transformer for +4 hours= during $hen release all gas #isa air #ent.

grounding plate.
