Purpose

The purpose of General Education Assessment is to measure student learning based on student work from an aggregated, institutional perspective. The six GEOs focus on institutional level student learning outcomes which may be assessed across the curriculum. CAC will NOT use GEO assessment results to evaluate instructors.

• Faculty determine best

• Team led by the Assessment Leader writes report including best improvement for implementation

• CAL leads CAT to write reports

• Highlights shared with CAC/Governing Board

• Posted to BB: Evidence of Student Success

• Program Owners act on results

• Results impact Academic Program Review
