The Gender Handbook

The Inter-Agency StandingCommittee (IASC) published the firstGender Handbook in HumanitarianAction in 2006, republished in 2018.

The purpose of the handbook was toprovide humanitarian actors withguidance on gender analysis, planningand actions to ensure that the needs,priorities and capacities of women,girls, men and boys are considered inall aspects of humanitarian response.
