PPB is the LEADER in Designing & Constructing Energy Efficient & Green Buildings.

1. We built the LEO (Low Energy Office) Building for the

Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water

(KeTTHA), a 2006 ASEAN Energy Award Winner

3. We built the HQ for Suruhanjaya Tenaga, a Green Mark

and GBI Platinum certified building.

All relevant requirements for the specific ratings of Green Buildings shall be complied

• Adopt the GBI guideline : provide dedicated areas where on

site sorted waste material can be stored for recycling

• Adopt the GBI guideline : Recycle and/or salvage ≥ 50% (75% for 2 points) volume of non-hazardous construction debris.

GREEN PRACTICES: Calculating Construction Waste

Calculations

1. Calculations are based on the amount of waste diverted from landfill or

incineration compared with the total amount of generated waste at site.

2. Convert all materials to either weight or volume to calculate the

percentage. Exclude excavated soil and land clearing debris.

3. Hazardous materials should be excluded from calculations and should be

disposed of accordingly to relevant regulations
